REX 84 Camps (FEMA & Detention Camps?) Is This the Stuff of 9-11 Truther’s, Chem Trail ‘Noids, Conspiracists?

The Lefties were all a twitter several years ago with the possibility the Bush-Cheney were prepared to use FEMA to round up dissenters and house them in detention facilities called REX 84 Camps. Are those camps still in existence and isn’t the Left still concerned for the public welfare…those REX 84 Camps are still out there aren’t they? Yes, yes they are for housing post natural or man made events. For the welfare of the populace, right? Is this goofy stuff or legit re of who is in office?

So, Lefties…the camps are still there right? Your interest has waned? Why no angst now with a true Leninist in power with his punitive thugocracy?

ARLINGTON, Va.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Jan. 24, 2006–KBR announced today that the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) component has awarded KBR an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contingency contract to support ICE facilities in the event of an emergency. KBR is the engineering and construction subsidiary of Halliburton (NYSE:HAL).

The contract, which is effective immediately, provides for establishing temporary detention and processing capabilities to augment existing ICE Detention and Removal Operations (DRO) Program facilities in the event of an emergency influx of immigrants into the U.S., or to support the rapid development of new programs.

Do these camps actually exist and where are they within the U.S.? Disaster preparedness is a legit task…is there an additional underlying worst cast scenario to handle a public insurrection? Probably…

Of course, goofballs like these confound and confuse any legit discourse re such concerns or the ability to verify any truth to the allegations. There are enough whack jobs out there, just query Bush and these camps and the magnitude of the paranoia during his terms is astounding. No such concern seems mounted now under Obama, the Leninist. Guess it might depend upon who is rounded up?

Well, I feel weird even raising this stuff, but the facilities probably do exist for legit purposes. FEMA disaster plans, old military bases closed. Plenty of facilities exist. The secret govt stuff is the hurdle that one must mentally adjust to. The tape of the Iran Contra hearing and Sen. Inoyue steering the questioning is intriguing, but again not sure what the questioning was precisely about…
