A wonderful man, courageous and passing on a lesson. Reaffirming to all the courage some possess in genuine adversity.

Malkin writes “……Dean Barnett has passed away. He battled cystic fibrosis while maintaining a tireless blogging/writing schedule. Dean was brilliant, hilarious, and gracious — one of the OG’s of the blogosphere, a trenchant essayist, and a talented radio host to boot.

He will be missed.  http://michellemalkin.com/2008/10/27/dean-barnett-rip/

“At the innermost point of the circle are the things that really matter: family, faith, love. These things stay with you until the day you die. At the very end, because the circle has shrunk down to its center, they’re all you have left. But as we approach that end, we finally realize that all along, they were what mattered most. As a consequence, life often remains beautiful and worthwhile right up until the end.”– The Plucky Smart Kid with the Fatal Disease:A Life with Cystic Fibrosis by Dean Barnett
