Rad Fem Take Away

I have not posted here in over a year. I frankly stopped posting because of the overwhelming negative hue that comes from realizing societal decline…I can only take so much. But, I cannot vent on the feel good friends and family on Facebook nor at my positive karma laden blog. So, I will resurrect Zipline to vent off the pressures of coming upon absurd happenings. No ground shaking, coarse altering writings here. Just reblogs and my take aways, mostly for my own sanity.

Fat Feminism

“Women’s Studies programs — where feminism wields the authority of an official philosophy — are disproportionately dominated by radical lesbians. This hegemonic influence is not merely manifested in the fact that outspoken lesbian activists are employed as directors and professors in Women’s Studies programs everywhere…(she) described these departments as “Lesbo Recruitment 101.

Diva Mag Fat Girls

My take aways: again, less than 3% of the population steers education, propaganda, inculcation, media visuals and narrative…blatant holding onto the bullhorn and relentlessly yelling the message. Who cares if you are fat. Your body, your health. But, the purposeful indoctrination and power grid behind the scenes is ugly (will you notice I have maintained the high ground and didn’t say something obnoxious like ‘is as ugly as their…insert fat laden body part). Feminism beyond equal pay/opportunities/meet the standards is dribble.

There, I momentarily feel better.

Reputed~Repugnant “Facts” re Illegal Immigration

ILLEGALSThis is a tough one for me. I know several Mexicans in the U.S., here illegally families and all. They work two jobs, they are decent families. I care for them. Yet the accumulative impact of not controlling our immigration is problematic. The human element is often lost in the politicalization of the issue from both sides.

Dennis Prager and Education Requirements

A Speech Every American High School Principal Should Give.

By Dennis Prager.

To the students and faculty of our high school:

I am your new principal, and honored to be so. There is no greater calling than to teach young people.

I would like to apprise you of some important changes coming to our school. I am making these changes because I am convinced that most of the ideas that have dominated public education in America have worked against you, against your teachers and against our country.

First, this school will no longer honor race or ethnicity. I could not care less if your racial makeup is black, brown, red, yellow or white. I could not care less if your origins are African, Latin American, Asian or European, or if your ancestors arrived here on the Mayflower or on slave ships. The only identity I care about, the only one this school will recognize, is your individual identity — your character, your scholarship, your humanity. And the only national identity this school will care about is American.

This is an American public school, and American public schools were created to make better Americans. If you wish to affirm an ethnic, racial or religious identity through school, you will have to go elsewhere. We will end all ethnicity, race and non-American nationality-based celebrations. They undermine the motto of America , one of its three central values — e pluribus Unum, “from many, one.” And this school will be guided by America ‘s values. This includes all after-school clubs. I will not authorize clubs that divide students based on any identities. This includes race, language, religion, sexual orientation or whatever else may become in vogue in a society divided by political correctness.

Your clubs will be based on interests and passions, not blood, ethnic, racial or other physically defined ties. Those clubs just cultivate narcissism — an unhealthy preoccupation with the self — while the purpose of education is to get you to think beyond yourself. So we will have clubs that transport you to the wonders and glories of art, music, astronomy, languages you do not already speak, carpentry and more. If the only extracurricular activities you can imagine being interested in are those based on ethnic, racial or sexual identity, that means that little outside of yourself really interests you.

Second, I am uninterested in whether English is your native language. My only interest in terms of language is that you leave this school speaking and writing English as fluently as possible. The English language has united America ‘s citizens for over 200 years, and it will unite us at this school. It is one of the indispensable reasons this country of immigrants has always come to be one country. And if you leave this school without excellent English language skills, I would be remiss in my duty to ensure that you will be prepared to successfully compete in the American job market. We will learn other languages here — it is deplorable that most Americans only speak English –but if you want classes taught in your native language rather than in English, this is not your school.

Third, because I regard learning as a sacred endeavor, everything in this school will reflect learning’s elevated status. This means, among other things, that you and your teachers will dress accordingly. Many people in our society dress more formally for Hollywood events than for church or school. These people have their priorities backward. Therefore, there will be a formal dress code at this school.

Fourth, no obscene language will be tolerated anywhere on this school’s property — whether in class, in the hallways or at athletic events. If you can’t speak without using the f-word, you can’t speak. By obscene language I mean the words banned by the Federal Communications Commission, plus epithets such as “Nigger,” even when used by one black student to address another black, or “bitch,” even when addressed by a girl to a girlfriend. It is my intent that by the time you leave this school, you will be among the few your age to instinctively distinguish between the elevated and the degraded, the holy and the obscene.

Fifth, we will end all self-esteem programs. In this school, self-esteem will be attained in only one way — the way people attained it until decided otherwise a generation ago — by earning it. One immediate consequence is that there will be one valedictorian, not eight.

Sixth, and last, I am reorienting the school toward academics and away from politics and propaganda. No more time will be devoted to scaring you about smoking and caffeine, or terrifying you about sexual harassment or global warming. No more semesters will be devoted to condom wearing and teaching you to regard sexual relations as only or primarily a health issue… There will be no more attempts to convince you that you are a victim because you are not white, or not male, or not heterosexual or not Christian. We will have failed if any one of you graduates this school and does not consider him or herself inordinately fortunate — to be alive and to be an American.

Now, please stand and join me in the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag of our country. As many of you do not know the words, your teachers will hand them out to you.

Pass this along if  you agree.

Philly Flash Mobs….Thuggery (Nanny’s Brood)

Spooky Tuesday? Corruptocrats

Can the ‘Spooky Hungarian Dude’, Progressive hacks and the true believers pull off the voter fraud schemes they have planned for? Will the people’s will be subverted?

I, for one, am not willing to settle for corruption as usual. Perhaps that seems to be acceptable ‘machine politics’, but not acceptable from either party. All those opposed to the Nanny State have little tolerance left for a ruling political class, regardless of a D or R.

There is a mandate to reduce debt, reduce government, reduce gluttony. The ‘loud voices’ won’t be silenced. No calm after the election. The campaigning will not stop as Wonder Boy continues on and on. And, Hilary. The momentum must be maintained AND the end game must be kept in view. This election is only the beginning…not the end.

Arizona’s Law: Fed’s Show Thier Devisive Intent

This whole bogus lawsuit by the Fed’s is nothing but a ploy and it is totally pitting Americans against Americans and American against the illegals. No reasonable discussion any more. People forced to take sides; no wiggle room. Sanctuary cities abound (50 of them) fly in the face of Fed law, but that is ok because they match the philosophical intent of the Progressive Agenda.

Pitting Americans against each other is typical of the Left. Hypocrisy abounds with these power grabbing thugs.

Colton Harris Moore (OK Shitbird…Please Go Down in a Blaze)

Colton Harris Moore

Colton Harris-Moore, the Whidbey Island teen who married car theft with MySpace photos “America’s Most Wanted Teenage Bandit.” Harris-Moore’s career in crime has escalated from breaking into local homes to stealing cars and running from police in less than a year. Harris-Moore’s also been accused of speedboat theft, as well as stealing (and crashing) airplanes. More recently, he broke into a police cruiser and took an assault rifle. He later left a note saying “Cops wanna play huh!? Well its no lil game…..It’s war! & tell them that.” He now has the national exposure necessary for the film career everyone’s been pushing for.

Only the arrogance of a teen and the wits of a wizkid combine for this outcome. Hopefully he will not kill anyone and will pile a stolen plane into a hillside. Refuse to ever cheer for a criminal. Oh, the mother, Pam Kohler, is an idiot.

Some chutzpah there by the producers of the event. And, I bet Rush did not ask one question to elicit some social agenda. Saw him dancing at some point in the event…not sure what that was about…but he seemed to be having good time. A Conservative with rhythym. Congrats Caressa Cameron.

Americans Talking Global View (At Sametime Pulling the Down Comforter Higher Over Their Head)

“The disappearance of international news is a long-term trend in the U.S., dating back at least to the late 1960s and particularly marked since the end of the Cold War. A number of studies suggest a roughly 80 percent drop in foreign coverage in print and television media since then. But the trend seems to be accelerating, a fact that should alarm citizens of any country that aspires to global influence—or to survival, for that matter.”

I am by no means a globalist. Screw the global community. But, I think it only makes sense to be fully aware of the world around you to assess threats, discover innovations, monitor the health and welfare of allies and to maintain the heritage of wisdom from scholars. The whole mushy mess seems part preoccupation with media drivel, as well as this ‘think local’ mindset (at least amongst the hipsters in my neck of the woods). Think Local has some merits. It is ironic that it is often associated with the Euro life style. But, the article above focuses on Journalists and their decisions to not bother their readers with current events beyond Tiger, Sarah or Michelle. Is anyone sick, seriously sick, of seeing Obama and Oprah at every turn?

Odd how the media/education machine so easily stirs our development and awareness. The older I get the more depressing it seems that the historical heritage of this country…just basic agreed upon history…is so diluted by political agendas that we will only be living in the present or future. That is a shame.
