Borrowed this from comments section at Moonbattery. Very informative regarding perception of Obama’s view of our Vet’s:

The No. 1 issue that will defeat Obama
Exclusive: Joseph Farah identifies BHO policy proposal GOP could exploit to victory

There’s an issue out there that can ensure Barack Obama is defeated in 2012.
It’s not Obamacare.

It’s not his religious views.

It’s not his commitment to socialist and anti-American causes.
It’s not even the birth certificate and his eligibility issues.
I believe the issue that will take Obama down if Republicans make it an issue is his administration’s proposed budget cuts for active-duty military personnel and military retirees – but not civilian defense workers.
Do you get the picture?
Obama has tipped his hand. He’s showing the entire country what he thinks about our military service people – the people who risk their lives for their country are worth less than civilian defense workers who push papers around in Washington.
Chances are you don’t know much about this story. There’s a good reason for that. The Big Media don’t want you to know, because they recognize the political radioactivity it represents. This is the Death Star for Obama’s re-election campaign. If Americans know about this – Republicans, Democrats and independents all oppose him.
Here are the details of the story broken by the intrepid Bill Gertz:

“The Obama administration’s proposed defense budget calls for military families and retirees to pay sharply more for their health care, while leaving unionized civilian defense worker’ benefits untouched.”
“Several congressional aides suggested the move is designed to increase the enrollment in Obamacare’s state-run insurance exchanges.”
“The disparity in treatment between civilians and uniformed personnel is causing a backlash within the military that could undermine recruitment and retention.”
“Significantly, the plan calls for increases between 30 percent to 79 percent in Tricare annual premiums for the first year. After that, the plan will impose five-year increases ranging from 94 percent to 345 percent – more than three times current levels.”

Think about this – and imagine how you would campaign against Obama on just this one issue.
U.S. military service people don’t get the equipment they need to do their jobs. They don’t have the manpower they need to complete their missions. Their families scrimp and sacrifice financially so they can serve their country. They risk their lives and give their lives for their country.
But, according to the Obama administration, unionized civilian defense workers, sitting behind their comfortable desks in Washington, deserve better treatment than our heroes serving overseas in Iraq and Afghanistan and elsewhere.
It’s almost unbelievable that Obama could serve up a slow-pitch softball like this for Republicans to knock out of the park.
It’s even more unbelievable that none of them has.
Which is why I write this column.
Obama needs to pay for this. Whether or not he backs off, whether or not Congress throws his budget out the window, whether or not these cuts are ever enacted, Obama needs to pay a big political price for showing his cards. Republicans need to remind Americans every day that Obama is the guy who wants to cut medical care for soldiers, sailors, Marines and airmen – all while preserving the goodies for Washington bureaucrats.
Men and women who put their lives on the line, who risked their health and well-being, are treated like second-class citizens in ObamaWorld.
He signaled his absolute contempt for the U.S. military – not just the institution of the military, but the active-duty grunts on the front lines.
This is an easy one for the American people to understand.
So where are the Republicans?
Where are the talk-show hosts?
Where is the blogosphere chatter?
Obama has stepped in something very smelly here. Why aren’t more Obama critics making hay of it?
Can you understand it?

Given the stakes in the next few years, it is disheartening to see the Republican apparatus in action right now. No rationalization aids in accepting the current Romney/Gingrich abuse fest. Baggage, bloat….something is not right there and we know it. And, if because of this campaign strategy (bash each  other’s capitalist tendencies) that obnoxious Obama gains traction, I will give up on this process.

Executive power grabs, neutered Congress, extremes abound and no clear leadership, vision or ability to capture the imagination. The far Left, the religious Right, the damn moderate/undecided’s. I am disgusted.

Oh, I like Ryan and Daniels. No matter, I know. The Republican machine has regurgitated out Romney. And, the only counter is Gingrich, Perry, Santorum?

Obama’s Running Mate 2012?

Who will Obama and the Brain Trust select for his running mate in 2012? Stay with Biden? Doubtful. So who? Obama is on the ropes with the pathetic undecideds and that middle/moderate bunch that every campaign is steered toward. So, the proper pick could make all the difference in the world. Romney-Christie. Gingrich- (?). Obama – (?) Is it even possible anyone might truly oppose him that has a formidable enough apparatus to see it through (Hillary). Just wondering…….

Republicans: ‘Kick the Can?’

If I hear John Boehner say any further remarks regarding ‘kick the can down the road’ I will throw my fully decorated Christmas tree into the front yard! Who and the hell writes this stuff? Who advises these buffoons on the pulse?

These bozo’s are so easily manipulated into corners and the media then provides the final pull on the trap door handle. The Repub’s better figure out how to actually get their message out and close the damn deal. Overcome the tax the rich populist/class envy BS. Stop talking about the ‘job makers’ and ‘kick the can’ crap. Pathetic! Use the above invention, get a clue you are blowing it and fix it!

Too Much to Track or Care About? Media Overload

There are the events that pull at the conscience: massive tornadoes, mass narco graves, more disappearing children, spousal abuse, foreclosures on dreams.

But, a bunch is tiresome, as if by design: Obama (shut the hell up!), BS Republican candidates (is this the best the nation has to offer?), the media’s relentless coverage of anything, never ending guilting of the psyche by mental manipulators. Out of this giant whirl pool of mental debris, I hope something truly positive emerges that stands for the Republic, Liberty and Individualism. I do not care about this massive world order of collective consciousness.

Battle Lines, Flanking, Subplots (Bring It~Smash It!)

Amazing things taking place, yet as if the world in slow motion. Obviously the media controls the energy, hype, worth, urgency. What BS.

Japan, the $$$, Oil, Libya, Egypt, Iran, Israel, China….on and on. Radical Islamist and Commies conspiring for what? Silence from the media….the SRM.The propaganda arm of the Left. Regrouping of how to best try for a Clinton move to center. The Marxist puppet bo moves center. Such silly shit.

Bring it. Won’t matter what any of these prissified politicians do in office. Republican or Democrat. I  will believe it when I see it. I do know the ruckus is coming….calm before the organized, politicized storm. Slimy little thugs better bring it good. Damn duped cops better wake up.

Unfaithful Republicans…Shame!

$38 Billion dollars in cuts. They promised $100 Billion. Wimp factor huge. Betrayal of the electorate. Pathetic responses to a crisis…a real crisis. They, the Republicans, look weak and ineffectual. Maybe they do not know how to dig us out of this mess?

While the interest on our national debt pushes $4 Billion dollar per day, the best these Republicans can come up with for cuts for 7 months is $38 Billion? Poor effort. Poor showing. Betrayal. $100 Billion is not enough!

Rebublicans Outflanked?

I have remarked before on the pathetically fickle nature of the ‘Independent’ voter. They seem, along I guess with many in either party, to be easily maneuvered by symbolism and well presented speeches. Some would say this encompasses slightly over 25% of the populace.

Now the Republicans seem incapable of multi-tasking. Like a surgeon focusing in on a tumor’s removal, there is little room for any other docs at the table. In the meantime the Democides are busy. Ignoring the cancer, they are offering, like a naturopath-nutritionist, to cure the whole body with more of this and that. Poor analogy, I know, but those Independents like that touchy feely stuff. They need to believe in feelings, hope, change. They blow this way and that like some whirly bird gizmo in the back yard on a windy Summer’s day.(oops, bad again)

Can we perform more than one procedure at a time? Is there a meaningful front face to get the message out clearly and crisply (Cantor?) ? The Republicans talk too damn much and are no better than Dem’s at wearing out talking points. So far NOT IMPRESSED!

Food, Gas, Insurance, Unemployment, Home Values & Sales, National Debt, Prolonged Recessions…Wake Up. Any slight bump via the extension of the GWB Tax Cut extension is not a recovery. Stop the damn slide into the abyss with our safety, liberty and self worth.

Sarah Palin Overload…Fade Back Please

Yes, I like her on general terms. No, I don’t want her to run for President. Enough already. No, I don’t like the despicable assault upon her. But, that aside, I don’t see it. You don’t either, if you ever did. Enough of Sarah Palin. She would do well to retreat for the good of some branch of Conservative thought. Spare us the distraction. Also, don’t make us come to view you like Barack Obama….over exposed and annoying. Now where in the hell is a Conservative candidate. Haven’t seen one yet I like.

Zipline’s Final Oath

I have grown weary of the daily lies and manipulations by all sides. Truth, as I see it, is obscured and nearly smothered by power hungry factions that bully the realities into hiding. I have had enough.

I have my stores amply supplied. I have vowed to take care of and support all whom I love and protect. I will take care to treat my fellow man with respect and courtesy until they show me otherwise. I will not be naive about the intent of the Left or the gluttony of the RINO’s. ‘Don’t tread on me’ seems appropriate to my mood.

I am done with politics and the constant lies and petty manipulations. I will be all I can be to those that are in my sphere and come into my sphere. But, I will not suffer fools that sacrifice liberty for weak comfort.

For those that continue the good fight….bless you! If I come back to this grind it will be for outrageous expressions. I think my soul would be better served less outraged and diverted away from these follies of American politics and media.
