The people always have some champion whom they set over them and nurse into greatness. This and no other is the root from which a tyrant springs; when he first appears he is a protector. – (Plato)

  1. I used to walk a certain route to school when I was a kid…we all did from the same neighborhood. Then, a very mean man moved in on the corner, with a big, black dog that thought the path was his alone. Always feeling threatened we would take the long way around and miss the bus. Then we would go all the way around home and get a ride from my dad. One day my dad says “Come on..this shit is going to stop right now!” He took me and my neighbor friend by the hand and began taking us along our usual route. He had almost reached the corner when the dog came out barking. Without missing a step, my dad hit him in the throat and had his foot on his neck before we could even cry out. We were never afraid of that dog after that. When he saw us coming he backed up and sat on the porch.
We are tired of the yapping dogs of the liberals and the progressives! We have a well worn path of freedom, but the big, black dog is standing there barking. We conservatives need to just thrust two fingers (ok a middle finger is permissable) into his throat and put our foot on his neck. Make him go sit on the porch and whine.
