Waxman challenges Dingell for Chair of Energy and Commerce. Whack Job Emanuel Sharpens his Knife. (Preparations for CHANGE) Grow A Set Republicans!

liberty-2Eve at the Daily Kos reports of emerging shakeup on Democrat side….moving to the Regressivism agenda. This is not a subtle move. This is not a trial balloon for affect. This is the positioning of decision makers within the Democrats, and the enormous cost and boondoggles coming our way via social engineering. Haven’t heard about it on msm…Eve notes this development in These are critical decisions worthy of coverage. If our emotions are not being tweaked or individuals savaged, the msm seems incapable of substantive coverage.

“The Energy and Commerce Committee is expected to play a leading roll in crafting legislation that is a top priority of an Obama administration.”

“Environmentalists have suggested that Dingell was not moving quickly enough to take up climate change legislation.”

“Dingell has been a champion of the auto industry:

Policy-wise, the auto industry would see the weakening of its greatest patron at the moment of its greatest need, with auto sales dropping by their greatest margin since World War II and automakers looking to the federal government for help to stave off bankruptcies and massive layoffs.

but he has not been a favorite of environmentalists:

Environmentalists, who have clashed with Dingell, could see his defeat as a boon, with a greater chance to shape global warming and other legislation. ”

Emanuel Posting Could Mean War with GOP

“Appointing former Clinton political pit bull and Congressional whiz kid Rahm Emanuel as chief of staff makes Republicans nervous.”

“…there’s the story of how, the night after Clinton was elected, Emanuel was so angry at the president’s enemies that he stood up at a celebratory dinner with colleagues from the campaign, grabbed a steak knife and began rattling off a list of betrayers, shouting “Dead! … Dead! … Dead!” and plunging the knife into the table after every name. “When he was done, the table looked like a lunar landscape,” one campaign veteran recalls. “It was like something out of The Godfather. But that’s Rahm for you.”

House Minority Leader John Boehner pulls no punches when he says, “”This is an ironic choice for a president-elect who has promised to change Washington, make politics more civil, and govern from the center.”
