msm Malpractice (Despicably So! Party to the Dangerous Rift They Have Helped Create)
I say this, as someone that wants to be civil, but who watches every god damn special interest group storm the Civilization, loaded on entitlement juju and msm righteous infusions, that I am to the point of f**king bashing back. It is all I can do to not feel boxed and betrayed by the msm, the f**king bloated Republicans and the 40% taking a free ride on my back. It is shake them off time, turn around, square up and tell them get the f**k away…now! Back off…shut the f**k up!
Now what, where has that gotten me. No where. But, if you can’t relate to that…you are the 40% or oblivious. The msm is infected and corrupt. The damn near whole system is corrupt and Mr. O is more corrupt. What does that portend for those carrying the load.
For me there is an overwhelming anger that someone has to, must pay a price for all this. Life cannot go on like this. Where is the justice? Too big, too corrupt, too elite. Maybe it has to fall? They know we are angry. Hence the talk of changing the Second Amendment, from the local scene on up. They are playing a most dangerous game, these elites.
Now? The reporters are now lining upto confess failure? How pathetic. If they know now, they knew then. I’m not sure what is more pathetic: the indisputable fact of their failure, or their admission after the fact. As if writing a faux-intellectual Monday-morning critique of their industry’s gross negligence somehow excuses it, now that it’s water under society’s bridge.We tried. We blasted out the word from our little anonymous corners of the blogosphere, over and over again. We tried to tell the world how irresponsibly biased the Mainstream Media were in covering the presidential candidates. We were laughed down, ignored, scolded for being bad sports.
We, the nobody bloggers, worked our fingers to the bone, many of us sacrificing whole chunks of our lives, because the paid professional journalists — en masse — refused to be independent. They committed voluntary malpractice, regurgitating faxed or emailed campaign talking points as “news” instead of checking essential facts, much less pursuing actual stories. They puffed up Obama and his family as if they all worked for Readers Digest, flatly refused to vet him, and did exactly the opposite for Hillary Clinton, John McCain, and Sarah Palin.
History might mark the death of journalism as Americans knew it in the year 2008, who knows. Certainly it should. But I do know that had these hacks performed merely 25% of what they should have, the outcome of this election would likely have been quite different. Likely we would have had our first female president, or our first female vice-president.

Media bias-We have beat this drum for years, because it was obvious despite statistical data being scarce. Now, this year, it is so blatantly obvious that msm is propagandizing for Obama, that no statistics are needed. But, they do exist. Plenty of tabulations have been taking place to highlight positive/negative spin in msm pieces. Overwhelmingly, the slant has been Obama positive and McCain-Palin negative. Yes, the immediate retort is Fox News and Talk Radio. Talk Radio is opinion media, not balanced journalism…easily countered by the Leftist Blogs and what little Left talk radio there is, and HBO and all the entertainment industries opinion pieces.
Fox News is amazingly balanced. Yes, sometimes the anchor shows the personal bias. But, all the talking heads show amazing amounts of balance in presenting opinions from all sides.
So, Fox News v. CBS, NBC, CNBC, MSNBC, CNN, ABC, Most Editorial Boards, Most College Faculties…yes, Fox News is so overwhelmingly influencing minds. Well, to some degree they are. But, by sheer volume of repetitive prop pieces, come on, be real.

Yes, we all note the ‘media bias’ and enjoy our talk radio, the subcurrent of Fox News, a few magazines and of course the blogs and ezines. But, those creature comforts, in civil discourse, are little compared to the relentless MSm onslaught toward Middle America’s psyche. There is no adequate answer. The MSm is a propaganda arm of the Left. Pointing it out over and over does what? Points to where the rattlesnake is near the sage, but then what? It is still there. Begs the obvious questions of what to do with the rattlesnake. Freedom of speech does not carry with it a need to risk a snakebite…some would argue so, but a counter at least to the rattlesnake is a likely dose of lead. If not we risk further serious damage to our society. Civility and Moderation are not, presently, a means for safe passage through the sage. “Dog Bites Man’…I say ‘Snake Bites Mankind’ Who, amongst us, carries the snake shot…I am tired of the unchallenged intimidation.

This is amazing. McCain run tough ads calling into question Obama’s voting record and likely plans to raise taxes and McCain is a bully. I am so done with this Leftist sense of civility: poisoning the cultural well via MSM and the Obama Campaign…but take them to task for the poisoning and whoa! You, John McCain, are a bully. I showed this to a few co-workers. Two of the women, both Obama supporters, were completely disgusted with the dramatic difference in the puffball questions Obama got compared to Palin. Both were offended and said the media was so in the bag for Obama that they never would question the media is sexist, was out to destroy Hillary, and now is working on Palin while “our guy” is clearly getting red carpet treatment..Then one said – you know, seeing this shit happen makes me think he isn’t my guy…I really feel for Gov Palin getting abused like that..
