Sarah Palin (Yea or Nay? Bunglers Abound..Why is a Bushbot Anywhere Near Her!)

Perhaps this explains the awkward first steps by Palin? She has made no more mistakes, less I think, than Biden, the experienced one. But, no one dare challenge ol’ LPJ. So, my question, no my comment…the odd gaps and obvious drag in the McCain campaign had nothing to do with Palin and everything to do with having Bush personnel anywhere near this campaign. Win or lose, those tired and ill performing advisers should be banished. More power to Palin. She is THE only bright spot of the politicians. Perhaps a Palin-Joe the Plumber ticket next time. Wouldn’t that piss off the intelligentsia-elitist.

“Even as John McCain and Sarah Palin scramble to close the gap in the final days of the 2008 election, stirrings of a Palin insurgency are complicating the campaign’s already-tense internal dynamics.”

“Four Republicans close to Palin said she has decided increasingly to disregard the advice of the former Bush aides tasked to handle her, creating occasionally tense situations as she travels the country with them. Those Palin supporters, inside the campaign and out, said Palin blames her handlers for a botched rollout and a tarnished public image — even as others in McCain’s camp blame the pick of the relatively inexperienced Alaska governor, and her public performance, for McCain’s decline.”

Obama & Ayers (Point Made…Now Close It w/ A Reality Check)

The gap has recently narrowed because voters have second thoughts on Obama, via Joe The Plumber and Ayers. One revealed the Socialist mindset and the other corroborated the foundation of judgment and character limitations.

But, given the short amount of time left and the limited monies at their disposal…McCain-Palin should pound away at the basics, that are right in front of us…Obama said it and he is inviting the discussion. Take it there…even if you did vote for the bailout…discuss where we are headed. Ayers et al has been offered and is out there. Now, connect the dots via the economy. Also, hit hard on this worthless Congress and how inept the Regressives have been in Congress. No more Rev. Wright or Ayers or Odinga or Birth Certificates or Biden Buffoonery. Just stand toe to toe and and show a position. NO more fight songs, chanting the same tiresome phrases. Change up the words…give Palin a fresh script every day. Take the smile off Palin’s face and give her a serious demeanor now that SNL is out of the way. Take advantage of Barney Frank and Murtha. No scandal looms to bust open to bring Obama down. For some unfortuanate reason the voters do not care about character when it comes to a Regressive. It is only, now, what is in it for me….’I'll dance with the devil to get my due’.  Demonstrate the capability to talk reality and what to do about it.

“McCain will pay a steep political price if voters think he’s fiddling while Rome burns. Among the reasons the Republican brand is in such disrepair is because voters don’t believe the party is focused on issues that matter. It was true in 2006. It remains true today.”

Obama Surges w/ Undecideds (McCain-Palin Need To Pretend Better)

All the intense effort, mostly on blogs and a few Conservative Editorialists, have had no affect upon the voters, especially the wind sock undecideds. The economy is forefront. That is understandable. However, what is not understandable is this: why can’t the undecideds and a few more grasp why this mess happened and blame accordingly; something that should give McCain a boost. Also, why can’t McCain’s camp posit a credible response to this primary issue, while others push the character issue?

I watch the smooth talker appear well versed and perfectly concerned over the economy. I do not see McCain able to pull this off. In essence, Obama is appearing more in command and connection with this issue and this matters to the undecideds. Character does not matter to undecideds. If it did they would pick, an easy pick this time around. One side or the other…pretty easy, if you have any philosophical principles (Left or Right) to pick this time is easy. Nope, the tiresome undecideds are only concerned about their emotional barometer or what is in it for them. No principles beyond Oprah, Dr. Phil or Ellen. Our countries freedoms hang in the balance. True upheaval looms and these are the voters that hold the key.

Our free speech, our ethics and morals, our educational system, our laws are about to be blown asunder and rebuilt in some Euro Socialist version of Leftist utopia and the undecideds are falling for the one that sounds more convincing. Same old ploy of old…same old results for freedoms.

If associations don’t matter, than of course the supposed Bush-McCain association should no longer matter. But, they do matter and any frank, real discussion would compare the sets of associations and draw the obvious conclusions as to agendas. But the Left sees the Bush-McCain association as evil. The Right knows the philosophical trigger points of Mansour, Ayers, Dohrn, Rezko, Rashid Khalidi, Wright, Pfleger, Odinga, ACORN, Raines, Johnson……………..  Only the undecideds cannot connect the dots beyond their emotional teeter tooter. I am ok with McCain and certainly with Palin. I am concerned with who runs the McCain campaign and how inept they appear. Also, lose the woman with the rediculous tone of pending doom in the McCain ads. Talk straight and less theatrical. Sounds phony and does not connect with me.

Another dubious contact is dogging the Democrat hopeful

Written April, long before the McCain camp’s attempt to alert anyone and still important

McCain, You Need To Get Pissed Off….For Us. Get Busy!

Last night was like some debate on the Senate Floor…just some phone it in, campaign trail talking points. What the hell? Neither one showed leadeship. Neither one was in command. I am watching my retirement funds evaporate. I am pissed off. Fecking AIG execs on spa trips to Cal?!? On our dime? Seriously, this stuff is straining the patience of the populace to the breaking point. McCain get pissed off and show it! If you can’t muster the energy than turn Palin lose. I am sure she wouldn’t have to fake it.

John McCain unless you are pussy footing about because you have your own baggage and are afraid, then get up off your weak ass and build a fire and go at that sorry SOB and all his corrupt cronies. It will not just be an election you lose. The pathetic and bankrupt Republican Party maybe on public view right now. Not as criminally corrupt as the Demwits, but their (Repub’s) script and talking points are tired and weak.

Go after the Democrats, Fannie Mae, the Causes…talk about Ohio and Missouri Voter Fraud & ACORN. Have the balls to say it. Enough of this weak, overly calculated (timid) plan. It is not working. I am pissed off….fed up. I am not alone.

“…Nevada ACORN hired inmates as canvassers. One of them is spilling the beans on his colleagues, whom he called “lazy crackheads”

ACORN Fraudsters

ACORN Fraudsters

Calculated and real. ACORN is not the victim. They are criminals. Investigate and indict them. Shut these community organizing thugs down. The Obama Traveling Circus…come in one and all and see the bearded woman…she’s probably registered in Michigan, Illinois, Missouri and……………………

McCain and the Death Squads and Nazi’s (Right…Good Try, AP)

PATHETIC EFFORT AP!

What an amazing coincidence on the day of the debate the AP releases allegations against McCain with death squads and anti-communist (oh my!) and Nazis and Central America. Oh, my goodness. This is just so devasting. And, they wrote about 100 times more than they have on all the contemporary sleaze Obama still has ties to…like Odinga and his death squads in Kenya….

Pathetic and transparent. Negate or neutralize, throw in the S & L in a few days…but it will not change anything…McCain showed the appropriate judgement in 1986 to exit the organization. If…it really was that bad to start with.

“WASHINGTON – Barack Obama has his William Ayers connection. Now John McCain may have an Iran-Contra connection. In the 1980s, McCain served on the advisory board to the U.S. chapter of an international group linked to ultra-right-wing death squads in Central America.”

“The U.S. Council for World Freedom aided rebels trying to overthrow the leftist government of Nicaragua. That landed the group in the middle of the Iran-Contra affair and in legal trouble with the Internal Revenue Service, which revoked the charitable organization’s tax exemption.”

“The council created by retired Army Maj. Gen. John Singlaub was the U.S. chapter of the World Anti-Communist League, an international organization linked to former Nazi collaborators and ultra-right-wing death squads in Central America.”

Read the entire article. Starts out with synopsis that most people would read and bury the finer points down below…none of this nor the S & L is worthy or equal to Obama’s associations and involvements. Trying to equal or tit for tat your way out of this is OBS…what else is new.

SLIME TIME: McCain Goes With Radical Bombers & Thief; Obama Goes With S & L 5 and the Current Economy

McCain Game Plan:
1. Associations. William Ayers and Rezko, primarily. The campaign compares Obama’s association with Wright to a hypothetical Republican’s association with an abortion clinic bomber and wonders where the outrage is.

2. Obama’s record on crime. “Far outside the mainstream.”  Crime record — far outside the mainstram…issues like gang violence and crack/powder retroactivity (which even the Bush admin supports but is not popular)…  Are they skating close to the race line here? The McCain camp turns it around: since when is a black candidate given a free pass on these issues?

3. Tax issues — his votes to “raise” taxes 94 times, etc.

“We’re going to fight back against the false attacks and make clear who has the record of a principled, fearless reformer and who doesn’t,” says Mark Salter, McCain’s closest adviser.

http://marcambinder.theatlantic.com/archives/2008/10/the_mccain_comeback_plan_taxes.php

“It’s at this point that you see the absolute beauty in the Obama campaign. First, they discredited McCain on the economy. To be fair, McCain had a helping hand in that. Second, you paint his chief economic advisor, Phil Gramm, as the architect of the financial mess we are in. Bonus points to Gramm for calling people “whiners.” Then, you show McCain’s campaign is run by nothing but lobbyists, who have a vested, corporate interest in his winning. Finally, you hit him with the Keating Five—with the brutal KeatingEconomics.com—showing how McCain, in a similar situation in the past, allowed himself to be influenced by a lobbyist at the cost of billions to Americans. That’s how you build a case. That’s how you take someone down. Conventional Wisdom has us thinking Obama went with Keating Five as a reaction to Ayers. Nah. I’ve been both a website developer, and a video editor in my days, and I can tell you, the KeatingEconomics.com site isn’t a reaction. It’s part of a plan.”

Obama’s Campaign Spokesman, Bill Burton, Calls Voter’s ‘Too Dense to Get It’!

Filed under: Conservatism, Obama, Politics, The Left, The Media — SwittersB @ 4:46 p09
Tags: , , , ,

Barack Obama’s Primary Spokesperson, Bill Burton told Democrat strategists, on Friday, that American voters are too slow to react to the evolving story of Barack Obama’s involvement with Communists, Radicals, convicted felons and that strategists should maintain the MSm’s propaganda saturation to keep voters only concerned about the economy now, so they won’t think long term about what Obama’s policies will do to taxes. Burton said strategist are floating the simple ‘Barack was only 8 years old when Ayers was conspiring to kill Americans’ There will be little interest by American voters with Barack being associated with Ayers in the late 90’s and early 2000’s. So here is the initial response and the standard 2+2=4 simplicity of the Obama Campaign:

“The Obama campaign issued a response ad to the group’s ad, which says, “With all our problems why is John McCain talking about the ’60s trying to link Barack Obama to radical Bill Ayers? McCain knows Obama denounced Ayers’ crimes committed when Obama was just eight years old. Let’s talk about standing up for America today.”

So, the Obama Campaign will deflect the allegations with the following: 8 y/o When Ayers Planning Kills-Bombing, the Bush-McCain linkage, Republicans caused financial crisis, they will count on Kurtz’s Investigation being about as dynamic as Robert Byrd, and Obama’s minions are immediately prepared to present the race card. Why this strategy? Because the undecided’s are pretty slow to figure things out and they still get their news from the MSm.

Maybe they are too slow given the poll numbers. No stomach for principles. The attention span of a sit com and zero concept of history beyond and a HBO Special or NatGeo Prop piece.

http://elections.foxnews.com/2008/08/26/newly-released-documents-highlight-obamas-relationship-with-ayers/

Like many of the most extreme figures from the 1960s Ayers and Dohrn are ambiguous figures in American life. They disappeared in 1970, after a bomb — designed to kill army officers in New Jersey — accidentally destroyed a Greenwich Village townhouse, and turned themselves into authorities in 1980. They were never prosecuted for their involvement with the 25 bombings the Weather Underground claimed; charges were dropped because of improper FBI surveillance. Both have written and spoken at length about their pasts, and today he is an advocate for progressive education and a professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago; she’s an associate professor of law at Northwestern University. But — unlike some other fringe figures of the era — they’re also flatly unrepentant about the bombings they committed in the name of ending the war, defending them on the grounds that they killed no one, except, accidentally, their own members.

Dohrn, however, was jailed for less than a year for refusing to testify before a grand jury investigating other Weather Underground members’ robbery of a Brinks truck, in which a guard and two New York State Troopers were killed.

“I don’t regret setting bombs; I feel we didn’t do enough,” Ayers told the New York Times in 2001.

John McCain & The Economic Crisis (Apparently, No time to argue Conservative Principles…Poof!)

John McCain has not and will not argue Conservative Principles (Would Palin?). Free Markets, De-regulation’s Place, Government’s Place will not be argued. McCain is tip toeing through the mine field…time is a wasting John. Talk sense to the base and to these damn ‘undecideds’ This process is becoming obscene. Polls, a few states holding our destiny, wishy washy Moderates. If McCain cannot focus, then someone of stature and clarity must stand forth and argue core Conservative Principles (can the Conservatives agree on core principles anymore) to the populace. Where is that man or woman? Can they gain the exposure time to get out the message? Can John McCain tap into a vein of Conservative blood? It won’t scare the Moderates…say it intelligently and make it resonate with the voter. Make it stand in contrast to Empty Promises and the Leftist Agenda that awaits. Or, the hard gained goes up in smoke..poof!

Here is what Team McCain is telling me: Expect McCain to make the case on television, but don’t look for him to turn to Obama in the next debate, point his finger, and say something like this (courtesy of the Ace of Spades HQ blog):

“I stayed away from making these partisan attacks, even though you lied ridiculously about me and your own attempts at ‘reform.’ I held back, because partisan attacks—even truthful ones—would harm our country and reduce the chances of getting a vital bill passed. Well, the bill is now passed. I put country first. You didn’t, and you lied on top of that. And now—only now that this crisis has been dealt with, to the extent we can—I’m going to give you a bit of straight-talk about Fannie, Freddie, my attempts to reform it, and your attempts to block reform on behalf of your big donors and friends in ACORN.”

“My bottom line: The McCain campaign is underestimating how absolutely furious conservatives are that free markets, and by extension Reaganomics and the last 25 years of American economic policy, are getting the blame for the housing and credit crisis. A real morale killer, they tell me. Over and over. Every day.”

Obama (Are you for real? Pretenders and The Barney Fife Syndrome)

‘McCain was too afraid to look Obama in the eyes. McCain is intimidated. McCain was flustered. Obama looked Presidential.’ What the hell are you talking about?

Let me break this down for you. If you are a man, as is McCain, you recognize a poser playing psych games. Games some equally whimpy hand wringer instructed Obama to utilize. McCain simply does not respect the antics or ‘never been there’ attitude of a….let me say this tactfully….a pretender. Some one that has never been tested as a man. Obama cannot even grab the ‘hood’ as a pretext of manliness. He has nothing.

McCain does not give Obama the time of day, and there is Obama playing the dog game, that frankly only a whimp male would appreciate or some Southside thug. Dog someone if you want to provoke or get your ass kicked. What a bunch of drivel coming from the most dysfunctional males in our society.

A man recognizes the look in Obama’s face, as he looked at McCain. They recognized the tight smile and nervous eyes, striving not to gulp while losing composure. At times petulant and arrogant, but at times afraid and off balance, he was playing games. Something a real man does not have to do. Maybe I am seeing what I wanted to see…I think not. Many years of dealing with angry-violent men, dealing with real men, has taught me what a centered real man looks like. Obama, seriously is an arrogant, Ivy League boy. You pretenders, out there, your idea of toughness is a pickup game of basketball or field hockey. Boys, your girlfriends and wive…down deep, they suspect you’re a whimp. And, your are, if you think Obama owned McCain.

Can He Hold On?

Can He Hold On?

It is a wonderland of avoidance at Huff Po. I shouldn’t be surprised, but I would expect a bit more objectivity (Ha!) I know, I know. Not one mention of the allegations of Obama attempting to thwart the withdrawal of US troops from Irag to garner later political capital (should he win); No mention on the Obama Page of Ayers, Alinsky, Kellman, the CAC, ACORN. Not even to spin the allegations as totally contrived. Why no mention at Huff Po? No mention on MSM (to be expected). So, the average Liberal is oblivious. The Moderate is definitely oblivious and only exposed to the MSM negative McCain blitz and the ridiculous Palin fixation. No, it is the Left preaching to the Left about how vile McCain is, how mean. Let’s see: class envy, sex ed. freak out, Palin, the economy (Congress’ fault). Keep a concerted effort to sway the moderate with class envy, mean McCain, stupid Sarah, the economy, Middle America. Keep a smile on the Arrogant One’s face. Tell Biden to shut up. Maybe the MSM can do the heavy lifting with a 2-4 week barrage re the economy that will start the shift and then Barack Obama can waltz into power for the grandest social experiment in US history. Maybe……
