Freedom~Liberty & That Left/Right Scale
You and I are told increasingly that we have to choose between a left or right, but I would like to suggest that there is no such thing as a left or right. Moly Wei has probably done what she did because within herself lies a bad part. Hopefully she is young and may make amend and become a good person, unfortunately Tyler Clementi is dead and not just distraught over what she did. She will have to live with this atrocious deed that will haunt her .
When I was young I was not the men I am now. When I was 14 years old I was half way between what the pupils at my school described as cool and those described as not cool. The ostensible cool people persecuted the not cool ones and I , instead of defending them, joined the so-called cool people in what they were doing because I was afraid that otherwise I might become persecuted as well. Things went far but we had teachers who were able to handle the situation, and I opened my eyes. I apologized to those I persecuted and I am thankful they forgave me. The main problem , in my opinion, is that mankind often mistakes droll things with cruel things , as generosity is all too often mistaken for stupidity and kindness for weakness.To boot, a human being is not necessarily human and often remain an hominid . About homosexuality, we should never tolerate persecution against them , because after that what else ? Those who are fat, too slim, not enough good-looking, those who stammer… If somebody wants to persecute somebody here is a list of people who should be ( harshly )persecuted : Those who pollute our world, the religious fanatics, the poachers ( when it is lucre that motivates them ), and so on…. Unfortunately ….
