Transportation Secretary Ray Lahood said Sunday the government would release electronic records about the program, and President Obama has pledged greater transparency for his administration. But the Transportation Department, which has collected details on about 157,000 rebate requests, won’t release sales data that dealers provided showing how much U.S. car manufacturers are benefiting from the $1 billion initially pumped into the program.

I recently posted re population control and the spooky background of Obama’s cabinet appointee and about the polyannish Yes Men nonsense. Visitor and commenter, Ed Spaulding remarked with such clarity, which I often lack, that I thought I would share:
Re population control/populace control:
Population control means controlling people, not just controlling the birth rate. It has not escaped my notice that the UN discussed the alarming picture of the 21st century in Istanbul this June.
New global guidelines for economic, environmental and social ways of doing things have taken the “international law” perspective. It will soon be at a home front near you. “International Law” will use means that will totally bypass the mass consciousness until every freedom is gone, and we are not only controlled, we are consumed totally.
The way this is accomplished is through the use of education to conform minds to the ideology… blending opposing views into compromise that match the goals of the global law (they couldn’t be happier with the msm). The UN is extremely happy with Obama I would guess. He promises economic equality to seduce the masses, while engaing in equality talks with those who want to harm us and our way of life.Should we balk or state the obvious, we are labeled as “extremists” who refuse to compromise. Hell right! I do not want the Communist Manifesto to be shoved down my throat while the UN or the Obama administration (and all the leftist, socialist hand-holders) use psychology and sociology to establish the victimhood, blame, and anger that is needed to add fuel to their revolution.
Population control..sustainable habitat. Habitat II just concluded in Istanbul, but it’s tenacles are creeping and creating the new fabric of a global system. Instead of the freedoms we exercise now, we will be told how many persons we are allowed, how many sq ft we can occupy, how many drops of water we can consume, and how many kilowatts we can burn Should we not be able to add the resources to replenish our own use (our sustainability), what is the outcome? Soylent Green? Communist ideology is the future whether we Americans like it or not! Major NGO workshops and official UN literature announce guidelines for local communities. Model cities would use “Best Practices”.
Better get used to chickens for pets (they at least eat garbage and can be used as food…) because any luxury will have to be forfeited for the common good. We won’t be able to change anything, but I certainly won’t just roll over and take the mass transport to the factory of neutered minds.
Re the Yes Men’s Assassination of the Free Market and Liberty in general:
Tripling the size of government…EMK’s Americorp expansion will help the evil free market indeed. As a grantee of Americorp funds, ACORN should enjoy the “free” in the market. Influencing legislation through Americorp funding of the Acorn Housing entity will indeed continue to be free of regulation. Not only will the g-men organize the burglary and theft of neighborhoods, they will undoubtedly be the first to run to their victim’s aid….for “consideration” of course. What with more “service” oriented education on our college campuses, and the huge bonus for those who get pell grants for their choice of “service, volunteer, or non-profit start-ups”, these Americorp grantees will be the foot soldiers in the war on the free market. Water it all down…share with the less fortunate..serve, don’t strive for anything that even remotely resembles cashing a paycheck that is higher than your neighbor’s.
Ed Spaulding has frequently shared his laser sharp, to the point opinions re our corrupt representatives and the non-elected layers of political payoffs by Obama, currently screwing us without so much as a thank you. There are so many layers of corruption and insulation that I doubt we will ever see a push for Obama’s Impeachment. Hopefully, he will be so discredited we won’t have to waste the national agony and hand wringing of the half black man that was a flake after all.
