Remember the 'Disappeared'
Freind Fati wrote today from Iran: “…..this is terrible situation….we don’t know what they’re doing in the prisons with young students..”
This is not a story of one religious faction versus another..that seems so easily discounted. It is about representation, the vote, liberty, the arrogance of power, whether from a Theocracy or Marxist/Fascist. Don’t let this slip away. Not calling for bombing or invasion but the full weight of indignation and political pressure, if it has any impact, must be brought to full force.
