CLOWARD-PIVEN STRATEGY (Depending Upon Your Guilt & Short Attention Span)

My friend, Wayne McDonnell sent me this piece from www.DiscoverTheNetwork.org, which discusses the Cloward, Piven and Alinsky strategy of internal subversion via an overloaded system and ever increasing demands…ultimately demands upon the providers at the expense of our liberty.

Obama_SignsDestroyingAmericaM

“In their 1966 article, Cloward and Piven charged that the ruling classes used welfare to weaken the poor; that by providing a social safety net, the rich doused the fires of rebellion. Poor people can advance only when “the rest of society is afraid of them,” Cloward told The New York Times on September 27, 1970. Rather than placating the poor with government hand-outs, wrote Cloward and Piven, activists should work to sabotage and destroy the welfare system; the collapse of the welfare state would ignite a political and financial crisis that would rock the nation; poor people would rise in revolt; only then would “the rest of society” accept their demands.”

“The key to sparking this rebellion would be to expose the inadequacy of the welfare state. Cloward-Piven’s early promoters cited radical organizer Saul Alinsky as their inspiration. “Make the enemy live up to their (sic) own book of rules,” Alinsky wrote in his 1972 book Rules for Radicals. When pressed to honor every word of every law and statute, every Judaeo-Christian moral tenet, and every implicit promise of the liberal social contract, human agencies inevitably fall short. The system’s failure to “live up” to its rule book can then be used to discredit it altogether, and to replace the capitalist “rule book” with a socialist one.”

Do You Know You're Getting Screwed?

Do You Know You're Getting Screwed?

Just who are the ilk behind the Shadow Party that finance the demise of your liberty?

The hilariously misnamed Open Society Institute, a subversive umbrella for Soros contains all the associated germ warfare groups that calculate the end of our Republic.

They have studied well and perfected their insurgency from within. They have counted upon the sleeping, working middle class and the proliferation of guilt. Here we sit as this subtle organized assault unfolds. Wake up America. Smack down this pompous bunch. The ‘have nots’ have been brainwashed and addicted. They will not buy anymore rhetoric of free markets etc. A confrontation is coming if Liberty is to be regained. Hope and Change will have a new meaning.

These radical individuals are highly motivated, in many cases intelligent and talented, and sometimes even driven by what they would describe as altruistic motives. Yet the impacts of socialist central planning are inarguably destructive……”

“And the severe verdict of history on his perverted vision is without equal: over 100 million people murdered by their own governments in times of peace, more than all the wars of history combined. The rest face abject poverty, mass starvation, economic and environmental ruin, all overseen by smothering, indescribably brutal governments — a grey, barren existence for all but the apparatchiks.

So why are so many Westerners infatuated with this demented vision?”  Why indeed are so many self professed intelligent people oblivious to the above?

“The high-minded types are driven by a galling sense of superiority. They are addicted to their own egos. They know better and can defy the verdict of history because people as smart as they are weren’t around when Russia, China, Vietnam, Cambodia, North Korea, Ethiopia, Angola, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Congo, Nicaragua, Cuba, Venezuela, etc., went Red.”

“But living well in affluent, capitalist America, it is all theoretical, so they can indulge their fantasies while promoting this destructive agenda with impunity. For these people ignorance is literally a blessing, for if they soberly analyzed their ego-driven beliefs, they would be embarrassed.”

‘If you examine their pasts closely, you learn that most of these people also came from upper class backgrounds.”

Iran’s Election (Poll Hours Extended)

liberty 3Say a prayer that the large turnout creates meaningful change for the multitude of decent citizens of Iran. A beautiful country and a beautiful people…wanting what we have (and are slowly losing…liberty).

A new President may make a huge difference if voter fraud does not over rule the protest vote. Close vote may precipitate another vote. Change there, may be meaningful change. Isolation, text messaging shut down, suppression of communication? Come on…so obvious the suppression of freedom.

Ahmadinejad Claims Victory….

“Yet such is Mr Ahmadinejad’s popularity among his working-class followers - whom he has courted assiduously with cheap loans and food handouts – that he knows he can count on their votes anyway.” Let’s see, is that a borrowed Democrat technique or did the Dem’s learn that long ago from other classs manipulators around the world? And, obviously the propaganda ops (exaggeration) is universal…”The stewards in charge of the Tehran meeting hall reckoned the headcount was about 25,000, while the president’s warm-up man optimistically put it near a million.”

“The dramatic claims of victory capped a long day of voting that was extended for six hours to accommodate a huge turnout. During the voting, the government blocked text messages, a key campaigning tool for reformers, as well as some pro-Mousavi websites.”

“Iran’s state news agency responded moments after Mr Mousavi spoke, and reported that Mr Ahmadinejad was the victor. The report by the Islamic Republic News Agency gave no details. With more than 10 million votes counted, Ahmadinejad had 68.8 percent and Mousavi had 28.8 percent, said Kamran Daneshjoo, a senior official at the Interior Ministry.”

If the little Hitler wins, this will be a devastating blow to Iranians tired of the ilk at the top. So much hope for true reform has emerged. I worry what will befall the country should the runt remain in power. Of course, with O prostating himself around the world we and the Iranian moderates are in good hands… گه‌!

Conservatives (Just a Couple Unaddressed Issues……)

Questions 2

We don’t want Government run health care. What do we do about tens of millions of uninsured? What is the Conservative response in the affirmative? What is the free market/capitalist/non-government response to this real problem? Not enough to argue down the problem and question the stats. 40 million, 20 million, whatever. What is our practical, reasonable solution to this problem?

Global Warming-Climate Change BS? When do you hear Conservatives argue for cleaner rivers; zero toxins dumped from pipes into rivers? Ridiculous rules to protect insects, rodents, snails all really generated to halt development more than protect the critter. Rules devised to halt growth and sprawl. Density v. Sprawl, mass transportation v. private conveyances. What is the Conservative response to the freedom to sprawl outward on and on, to escape urban ugh! and the elimination of farms, habitat and green spaces? I know a convoluted mess. But, we hang our hat on liberty and the ability to do as we wish. Here is a simple problem, at the risk of sounding like a pie eyed earth cookie: in my home State of Oregon… I cannot remember seeing what I saw as a child…honey bees, Monarch butterflies, cabbage moths, Bumble bees, robins. Oh, I see some, but not the sheer numbers even with a garden. I live on the edge of a wetland so I see the coyote, the raccoon, the woodpecker, the occasional Hummingbird. Why are bees and birds and butterflies missing? Silly question? Is it?

Frankly, many people see these problems or at least buy into the Left’s anti-capitalism, anti-development mantras. They see know response toward the core kernel of truth re these problems. The Left sees the problems and uses them as a vehicle to shut down the Right. The Right sputters and does in deed use the same tired responses. The Right has to decide whether in that hodge podge of Conservative values and principals there resides solutions to the messes of the Left OR solutions to the unintended consequences of unbridled growth, sprawl and neglect.

China’s Government Owned Enterprises (No Surprises re The Motivational Outcomes)

Robots 2I have a freind just back from a long stint in China. He was representing an American company contracted to perform certain structural projects stateside and he was to ensure the quality of work in China. His initial months of stay were an exercise in gradually reducing his expectations, not regard safety practices overall, but in how one gets to that end point. There is no incentive to move on production timelines. Work is purposely delayed and often poorly done with the intent of re-doing it. To perform up to efficient standards is to risk losing their job, in their minds.

My freind believes the government controlled businesses syphon off great amounts of cash and pay ‘slave’ wages to workers. Workers are housed in old migrant camp housing. These are structural engineers by the hundreds with college degrees and pushed from one project to another by the government via the ‘business’. There is no choice. No sense of independence. No sense of individual. All projects have individual components that would take two workers here. Perhaps 4 union workers here. There 10 are assigned and the obvious two required workers take turns with the other 8 in sharing the job. The job is rarely correctly completed. The job has to be redone..over and over. Delays are calculated to ensure employment.

Is this the inevitable future here? Pathetic, I say. Oh, rest assured my friend, although he is having a nervous breakdown over time, intends for all materials coming here for the project to be structurally sound for your safety. The monumental effort is compounded by state run malaise.

Somalia Adventure Cruises (Best Damn Adult Arcade Offered Now)

Imagine The Thrill~No PC Frustrations Here

Imagine The Thrill~No PC Frustrations Here

Maggie’s Farmhighlights a new adult arcade venue guaranteed to rid you of the frustrations of office politics, bottom line blues, TV boredom and that failed tryst…yes, for a small sum you can ride the high seas and play in the ultimate adventure game (at least for now).
“How can we make that guarantee? We operate at 5 knots just beyond 12 nautical miles off the coast of Somalia, thus in international waters where pirates have no rights whatever. In fact, we make three passes through the area’s most treacherous waters to ensure maximum visibility by Somali “mother ships”.
* It is my obligation to forewarn you that the bawdy men at Maggie’s Farm are sometimes given to displays of gratuitous female nudity. If this offends you, just a warning. Plus it is so damn hard to continue reading with out reverting back to the  ”Maggie’s Farm fact-checking and bookkeeping staff” group shot.

American Angst by HillBuzz (Reality is Catching Up)

simply wrong

From HillBuzz:

“The MSM and White House continue to tell us, every day, how historic Dr. Utopia’s presidency is and how happy we all must be that we have a black president now.

We hear over and over again how glamorous Mrs. Utopia is and how everyone should look like her and dress like her (and wear sofa upholstery and old coffee filters sewn by drag designers as couture evening wear).

Hope!

Change!

Middle-management slurping old chili out of the garbage!

People losing their homes!

Talented professionals going almost a year without finding jobs!

Welcome to Dr. Utopia’s America, people.  It’s the man the MSM claims is the new Lincoln, the one who’s taken over and nationalized the car-making industry…the man who reminds us not of Lincoln, but of Hoover…and we all not only know how terrible government-made cars are, but also how much Hoovers SUCK.

And we hate to tell you this, but it is all only going to get worse for the rest of Dr. Utopia’s term.”

Here in the NW, the impact is slowly impacting us. The earnest hipsters still flood the coffee shops and restaurants. There seems to be little impact in the Pearl District, until a closer look…for lease signs are ever more common and entrepreneurial dreams have ended for many. In the bleak observations of HillBuzz are the dark images of day to day decline in our self esteem, liberty and an increase in our vulnerability to the Nanny State. Sobering reading at HillBuzz….as it should be.
