“A Saudi government spokesman says 11 of the Saudis on its recently issued most wanted list are former Guantanamo detainees.

Gen. Mansour al-Turki of the Saudi Interior Ministry told The Associated Press on Wednesday that among the 85 people listed by the government, 11 had been released from the U.S. detention facility in Cuba and passed through government-sponsored rehabilitation programs.”

Where is the news coverage on this? First I have heard of it…it one of these assholes killed an GI, that family should bring every recourse against the U.S. Govt….naming Obama et al.

Hillbuzz is encouraging their readers to immediately call or email your Senators and advise them to vote no on the confirmation of Daschle to head HHS. He has apologized. Isn’t that enough anymore for our Senators to simply apologize and life goes on. I am certain (here is the obligatory reference to the double standard..but?) we would be given the same option to apologize and receive a pass or adjustment or pay as we go…

The doubel standards in Congress or sickening. Doesn’t really matter whether Republican or Democrat. It is an unrepresentative govt.  It is ironic how much heat befell Ms. Palin. No heat for Rangel, Daschle, and the other tax evading moron I can’t think of now that was confirmed…all pathetic…
