Stop the Left

A video that has been around from march in NY on September 21, 2008. Watch it all and consider the double standards of the MSm and their manufacturing hate from Republican voters versus this spectacle. These are the tolerant ones. No one should witness this from either side and not be ashamed of where we are headed. This intoleance and manipulation of the public perceptions is worrisome. No comments from the Left’s prop arm the MSm on this but oh my one fictitious voter allegedly making threats to Obama…oh my. A national guilt laden angst pours forth from the media…..but this…nada, nunca, cero! Elitist intolerance. Enclaves of Group Think on display. These are you diligent neighborhood watch types that will report you for inappropriate conduct and watch from there parted curtains as you are escorted in for……………………

  3. The press needs to STOP the investigation of Joe the Plumber and START investigating Barack Obama.

In case you missed it, the first link below is the MUST WATCH special Hannity show that aired on Hannity’s America a couple of weeks ago about Obama’s connections.

If this story isn’t frightening enough, there is ONE story that Hannity mentions briefly but did not expound on- and that story is Obama’s connection to Raila Odinga. The second link is a petition which not only tells the story but is a site where you can sign on to petition the Media to cover the Obama/Odinga story, BEFORE the elections. PLEASE sign and get the word out to your friends!

  4. get over it everybody my boss already makes 250 grand a year, this kind of tax will hurt him. He is going to be punished because he busted his butt for 20 years to make that kind of money now Obama wants to punish him for living the American dream, that is wrong.

  5. List of conservatives that now support Obama. But they’re crazy right?

Andrew Sullivan, conservative blogger for the Atlantic Monthly: “Obama’s story confirms what conservatives have always believed about America. He is the black son of an immigrant, raised by a modest single mother and yet despite the obstacles inherent in his background he is approaching the pinnacle of American success. Isn’t he the poster boy for what conservatives have always assured us is possible in America?”

Armstrong Williams, an African American conservative and talk radio host who is not an Obamacon but said he might become one: “I’m not going to just blindly go to the polls and vote for someone because they’re a Republican anymore. I wouldn’t have given two cents of thought to this in the past, but fortunately I’m maturing and fortunately for the first time in my life I could vote for a Democrat for president.” Williams refuses to base his vote on race, “however the stain of America is race, human slavery and de jure segregation and no one can ignore the fact that since the founding of this country, only white men have occupied the White House.”

Larry Hunter, supply-side economist who helped write Republicans’ 1994 Contract With America: “How can I possibly support a candidate who proposes domestic policies (especially tax and economic policies) that are completely antithetical to everything I believe? … It is indicative of how much I value individual freedom and how profoundly important I believe foreign policy to be at this juncture of American history that I am enthusiastically supporting Barack Obama for president. It doesn’t hurt that McCain himself is only slightly less wrong on economic and tax policy. … My sentiments on Obama are best captured in the note a conservative friend of mine, Wendell Gunn, wrote Obama when he sent him a campaign contribution: ‘My contribution to your campaign is based on hope and change: My hope that you will change your mind on the tax and economic policies you are proposing.’ ”

Andrew J. Bacevich, professor of history and international relations at Boston University, writing in the American Conservative: “We should take (McCain) at his word: his commitment to continuing the most disastrous of President Bush’s misadventures is irrevocable. … He is the candidate of the War Party. The election of John McCain would provide a new lease on life to American militarism, while perpetuating the U.S. penchant for global interventionism marketed under the guise of liberation.”

Douglas Kmiec, former head of the Office of Legal Counsel in the Reagan and first Bush administrations: “I’m disappointed that a legacy of great achievement that I think Ronald Reagan and the first President Bush brought to the Republican Party (has ended): in terms of fiscal responsibility and conveying as Reagan did that a free market and personal responsibility and defense of home and local community often redounds to the happiness of the human person. Somehow we’ve managed in the last eight years to forget all the basics, to violate all of the first principles. We’ve lost sight of the things that really mattered to us. If I had to give us a report card, I’d have to say, in the way the nuns used to express it, ‘not promoted to the following grade.’ ”

Susan Eisenhower, granddaughter of Republican President Dwight Eisenhower: “Deep in America’s heart, I believe, is the nagging fear that our best years as a nation are over. We are disliked overseas and feel insecure at home. We watch as our federal budget hemorrhages red ink and our civil liberties are eroded. Crises in energy, health care and education threaten our way of life and our ability to compete internationally. … My grandfather was pursued by both political parties … (and) went on to win the presidency with the indispensable help of a ‘Democrats for Eisenhower’ movement. These crossover voters were attracted by his pledge to bring change to Washington and by the prospect that he would unify the nation. It is in this great tradition that I support Barack Obama’s candidacy for president.”

David Friedman, economist at Santa Clara University and son of Nobel-winning economist Milton Friedman: “Bush was elected on a pro-market, small government platform and proceeded to greatly expand the size of government – and not only in the form of military spending. His view of the legitimate power of the executive branch, including the authority to deliberately violate federal law, I find frightening. Perhaps, if we are lucky, Obama will turn out to be the anti-Bush.”

  6. Well, Lala, it sounds tempting to say geeez, maybe, Obama is just a well intentioned moderate. So, I will excuse the above Neo-Cons for their regression back to their roots…big government, social-cultural Leftist and hawks. NeoCons only came aboard because Reagan was a hawk…do you not wonder why Bush got us into some of this mess. He was not a fiscal Conservative…He was a hawk…a darling at the time to the Neo Cons. Now of course he is tainted. But, because the above and David Brooks (you forgot him) are abandoning Conservatism and waltzing back to their origins…I am not surprised..that is fine. I can see Obama has surrounded himself with his contingency of moderate advisors…bottom line he slipped with Joe the Plumber and his voting record is obvious..he is a leftist and I don’t care if Nancy Reagan endorses Obama…he is not suitiable, not capable, not ethical to run this country let alone be a Jr. Senator. It will be interesting to jettison the Neo Cons and on the other extreme the religous extreme banter and see where Conservatism levels and does get back to less exec. power, small government and sound economics….Bush was not a traditional Reagan Conservative…try Neo Con… Oh, you forgot Christopher Buckley….Lord Have Mercy…well this is how things evolve…reject Bush and then dance with the devil…

  7. I don’t buy the argument that there are a lot of conservatives voting for Obama. In every election we can exchange Republicans for Democrats who vote for the “other side.” The Republicans produced two high profile Democrats, one of which was the VP candidate in 2000, to speak at the Conventions. The Democrats figured out that they lost the 2004 election because the black voters in Ohio underachieved and they needed a candidate to get them to vote this time. The Republicans shot themselves in the foot and put forth McCain as their candidate. Black conservatives have been all but ignored by his campaign and they’re pissed off… and I don’t blame them. Obama has managed to disguise his agenda better than most of the previous candidates and until Joe the Plumber asked a simple question we would be walking into the voting booth knowing very little about him or his agenda. The MSM is purposely quieting anything controversial about Obama and his associations so they can begin their indoctrination of the less informed citizenry to conform to socialist and social engineering agendas. There is only one problem… there are a lot of “Joe the plumbers” out there, there are a lot of Sarah Palin admirers that know that she is a doer and not a talker, a leader that gets things done and not someone that talks a good game, and she is absolutely fearless and not the coward that Obama is and has been throughout his political career. Don’t believe the polls that have always given the Democrats the advantage, whether it adds to their actual lead or reduces their opponents. I, for one, would never tell a pollster I was voting for McCain. I would tell them I was voting for Obama or that I was undecided. There’s a lot of us out there. The more the MSM turns the screws to everyday Americans, the more they’re screwing their own candidate. Keep it up!

  8. Obama is a secular marxist muslim. His handlers’ plan is to steal the election, start a race war, overthrow the government by declaring martial law, and then begin the execution/imprisonment of whites, jews, gays, Christians, etc. He will follow the path of Mugabe, seizing private property and turning the country into a Stalinist Gulag. Think that’s too severe? What did his mentor bill Ayers try to do in the Weather Underground? They bombed and murdered, trying to start a communist revolution. they have had 30 years to work on their plans. Obama is the result. This will be the last election the American people ever have.

  9. Well, Joe The Electrician, you might be a little far reaching there, BUT, a good backup plan is in order. I have of late viewed it more of a populace becoming so frustrated with a system that does not tell the truth that there is a revolt and a potential for violence to suppress it and a pushback, on and on. Probably, my frustrations with both sides. But, I live in the perfect dystopian enclave and am full prepared to look out for the little snitches that will report harsh speech, writings, behavior. The little gatekeepers of the oppressor. We shall see………..keep the faith Joe…it may not be that bad…just bad enough that we better have an informed and principled response.

  10. To confess, I revel in simpering, self-pitying fascists who complain bitterly of liberals craving “conservative” blood persecuting them. Sob sisters on the right are a maudlin, lunatic spectacle that might tickle me to no end if I didn’t want their heads on a pike so very badly.
