Joe Wurzelbacher, The Plumber (A Man, The Man, Our Man)

Update: Damn, Joe you are the man! How cool. We are proud of to have met you….McCain was wise to prominantly mention you tonight. Oh, and for you Regressives-Class Envy types, it does not matter how much a small businessman makes, it is what he represents in work ethic and jobs.

Joe Wurzelbacher asked for all of us and just spoke for us. Take heart. And, let’s hope Joe gets his bass boat. Way to go Joe! Thank you.

“There’s a lot of things I wish McCain would say. As far as this, yes, I would like him to speak. Not so much about small businesses, but just people in general that make this money. It’s not up to them to help America, I mean – let me rephrase that. It’s not – they shouldn’t be taxed more because they’ve succeeded. That’s envy and jealousy. Get off your butt and go work. Don’t sit there and expect the government to give it to you. So I wouldn’t mind him speaking on it like that. I know he couldn’t say it probably like that because that’d turn a lot of people off.”

  2. Why do you think he drinks to excess or at all? He seems pretty sharp to me…a highly functioning alcoholic? I don’t know.

  3. McCain needs to metion Joe the Plumber in the debate at least 20 times. He should actually bring Joe the Plumber with him to the debate.

  4. Joe does not represent most Americans. His income AFTER taxes is over 250k? My income IS that high and I do pay some pretty steep taxes but you know what? I kind of expect to. I have more to live on than others who make less.

Joe is not representative of most Americans and I don’t believe this is going to help McCain in the end. It may wind up hurting him with the poor and middle class.

  5. You bet, Dave. Well, Dave you give allllllllll you feel obliged to. I currently work half the year for the government. I don’t want to give any more; I want to give less. Give on Dave. We have poured Trillions upon Trillions into the black holes of poverty, inner city feel good BS, education.

I don’t care what Joe makes. He is like most Americans, something lost upon your status/income conscious Regressives. He is like most taxpayers based upon his work ethic and principles. He is part of the great 50% that you are in taking care of the other 50%. Please donate all you want….leave me out.

for his support of abortion, alcohol, and gays, right wing evangelcials want nothiong to do with him, for they do not believe now that Obama is a real practising Christian

  7. Dear Non…not sure this has much to do with Joe W. but, I am beginning to feel there are two trends on the Right that are becoming tiresome: Elite Neo Cons bailing on Reagan and headed back to their Leftist Cultural underpinnings AND Evangelicals. See those same strident purists are on the Left in the Wright Theologists and they certainly are even more pure in the Muslim Sharia vain. I say tone down the religion. It is a threat whether from the Right or Left or the Jihadist. Christian Judgement. Losing because it sounds fanatical.

  8. I think McCain thinks like that and in his own way thinks like that. McCain is not a socialist but understands helping those in need who actually help themselves. Helping yourself does not mean getting a loan via ACORN and renting it to your friends for $1000 a month with no intention of paying it back.
