Biden’s Economics~More Taxes Patriotic-Idiotic (This makes my head hurt…do they believe this mierda?)

Will there ever be an end to class envy and warfare? I mean even in Utopian Leftist toilets there are still the masses and the elite. What the hell are we accomplishing with wealthy elitist giving away our dollars…knowing they will never have to struggle. Joe Bidenis set for life. He never will pay for his own train fare. This man is so disingenuous. The Left is so phony. It is only said to create strife and pave their way to a bigger government. Let’s see if there are any fat cats that I would like to see leveled: hmmmmm?    James A. Johnson & Franklin Raines for starters. Oh, Obama should pay a price too…poor judgement again!

’While Barack Obama tries to call John McCain a “liar” for saying Obama will raise taxes on a wide swath of Americans, Joe Biden tells America that paying higher taxes is … patriotic?  The Democratic VP told Good Morning America today that “it’s time to be patriotic” and start allowing Uncle Sam to take even more of your paycheck’

‘America’s economic woes have nothing to do with taxes.  Biden offered a non-sequitur yesterday when asked about the need to bail out AIG, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and Bear Stearns.  He blamed the problems on tax cuts…’

  1. I know I am probably wasting my time here because you will just take my words and twist them, but I will say them anyway.

Obama and Biden are at least talking straight — they are the real straight talk express. McCain should look into that. They are telling it like it is. They will raise taxes on a percentage of people. They are not hiding that fact.

I see nothing wrong with what Biden said. Paying taxes is patriotic. Where do Republicans think much of our “take for granted” infrastructure and programs come from. Taxes. Without taxes, we would not have a nation.

And, yes, it is patriotic to pay taxes at a time where we are running the country into a fast turning spiral of debt and deficit. I don’t want our country to be owned by China in 20 years with continuous borrowing and deficit spending.

So, damn yes, paying taxes is patriotic because I am doing it for my children and their children. Maybe when they are older, they will actually have money in their pocket because we have paid down our debt instead of having to bow down to those countries that will own us if we continue down the road we are going.

I have no problem paying a little extra now to ensure our solvency in the future. What has been done lately surely hasn’t been working to well.

Simply put, it’s called not being selfish.

The funny thing is — you will vote for McCain and when he gets into the White House and does his best “read my lips” imitation and then raises your taxes — he will laughingly apologize while he sits comfy in the White House.

I hold my elected officials accountable.

  2. And to be fair,

Biden should have used the phrase “civic duty” instead of “patriotic” — I knew what he meant.

But like I said, it will somehow be twisted into something negative.

  3. ‘twisted’ civic duty yes, to a point. Patriotism is not moving toward a Nanny State…sorry, I know what the #3 Voting Liberal meant…said it with a smile…all a question of degree, like Liberty…thank you for writing…we agree civic duty to a degree…

  4. re your pious rant, at my liberty’s expense, I don’t care for McCain either…(don’t like his hawkishness nor his moderateness) but, he is preferrable to Obama. Obama is seriously corrupted…and before you go on tit for tat…until you and your care enough to look into the corruption of ACA, his relationship with Ayers, Klonsky and Kellman as well as the machine’s voter fraud (ACORN) then my civic duty is to resist a Radical Leftist that at the same time consorts with the Raines and Johnsons, their money and their financial corruptions…twisted enough? Hope so

  5. It’s hard to have conversations with people like you because you already have a pre-determined judgment on people. You lump everyone into Left or Right. Talk about pious.

I am an Independent. I have voted across the board with respect to the political spectrum. I voted for McCain in 2000.

I hold my elected officials accountable. I don’t care what party they are from, if they don’t do the job or do what the promise, then I vote them out.

You bring up a list of negative talking points about the atrocities of Barack Obama, but I bet if you sat down 1:1 with him for 2 hours, you might change your mind about how you feel. It is easy to judge people from a distance, not really knowing someone — and just be angry.

That’s fine. That is your right. I don’t loathe people like you do though. It seems like you want 40-50% of this country to just up and disappear. That would be devastating economically you know.

I don’t hate many people, certainly not as many as you claim to hate with your posts and your “About Me” section.

I disagree strongly with people on many issues, from Republicans, Democrats, etc. I believe John McCain has changed from 2000 until now. He has changed from the person I perceived him to be when he ran against George W Bush. He is now entrenched in the Republican establishment — which is fine for him in order to try to win the election. But not something I like. I certainly don’t hate the man and certainly don’t try to dig up atrocities about him at every given moment.

All politicians have skeletons in their closets — that is a fact.

It just sounds like you choose to focus your disdain on this blanket term called the LEFT when in reality things are much more gray than that.

    Sorry to see that.

  6. Well, frankly me too…BUT, it (The Left) is apparently a monolithic force to be reckoned with…so call it what you will…I feel the urge to resist it, and pile equal amounts of venom toward it. If you explored my blog, you would find ‘house divided’ references, which highlight my underlying belief in the harm this divided country faces….BUT, as the Left believes, the election of the Leftist Obama will usher in a downhill slide to Socialism…I do too…I genuinely cannot support that and I genuinely do not believe Obama is a genuine or honest man. He is not a straight talker…merely a smooth talker…able to push buttons of envy and fear. His skeletons are dangerous…McCain’s are much like Biden’s…typical. I am not as harsh as I appear, but KOS is and I deem he and his pinched cohorts dangerous…read the Daily Kos…then tell me I have nothng to worry about and can dance merrily amongst the late Summer sunfllowers…I wish I could…I am not any more in love with the Republican establishment…I am a Conservative…but not of the Ron Paul variety and certainly not of the Kristol variety…not sure where any of it puts me….just know our country is in trouble because of Big Government and Big Business and Globalization…maybe it is too late..given the bailouts and peoples infatuation with a global personality…again…thanks for taking the time for a thoughtful response//
