Palin fires back in Troopergate, releases memos showing insubordination
“Monegan went behind Palin’s back to attempt to revive a project Palin had vetoed, which “stunned” the Office of Management and Budget Director. On another occasion, Monegan held a press conference with Hollis French to dissent from Palin’s budget priorities — the same Hollis French pushing the ethics complaint against Palin…”

I was listening to Mr. Morrissey this early morning on Bill Bennett. Morrissey raised three points: First, one of the members heading the investiation into Troopergate is Hollis French, and that he said Palin and press could expect an October Surprise. I wonder if someone was part of a picked body to conduct and objective investigation of Obama and made such a remark…what he outcry of bias would be. No comments so far.
Second, Palin fired Monegan 19 months after taking office. Not immediately upon taking office. The family troubles with the thug trooper were prior to her taking office. So, if this termination in the at will State of Alaska was for Monegan not firing the trooper, then is it honestly reasonable to assume she would wait 19 months, biding her time. Of course not. Monegan was fired for the obvious and understandable cause of insubordination…going behind Palin’s back on budget and administrative issues. She had every right to terminate Monegan and would be a weak Executive if she allowed such back door actions to continue.
Thirdly, after weeks of scrutiny and teams of dozens of lawyers digging dirt in Alaska, Morrissey remarked that all there is for dirt: Troopergate (a fizzle once people hear the sequence) and a tanning bed. Wow!
Let’s see, Palin………….Troopergate and a Tanning Bed
and, Obama……………..Attempt to Alter Troop Withdrawal in Irag for Political Gain, Ayers, ACORN, Radical Associations, oh crying out loud, the list goes on and on. As the name implies: HOT AIR http://hotair.com/
