This is rich, on the morning of a new ad against McCain for the dirtiest campaign ever….yada yada yada….more psycho manipulation and transference techniques….asking us is this all McCain has left but to run a negative campaign? This is amazing. McCain run tough ads calling into question Obama’s voting record and likely plans to raise taxes and McCain is a bully. I am so done with this Leftist sense of civility: poisoning the cultural well via MSM and the Obama Campaign…but take them to task for the poisoning and whoa! You, John McCain, are a bully. Whimps All. Too Whimpy to be Commander in Chief. Strength Through Petulance and Ego!
Photo’s of McCain taken by Jill Greenberg for Atlantic Monthly (intentional ugly on the street)
“……this was not Greenberg’s article. She chose to use a very unflattering image as a way to insert her opinion into the mix and editorialize an article that was written by someone else. That someone else – Jeffrey Goldberg – is not happy with Greenberg’s actions:
Like others at the Atlantic, I was appalled to read about the actions of Jill Greenberg, the freelance photographer who took the cover portrait that illustrates my article about John McCain… Suffice it to say that her “art” is juvenile, and on occasion repulsive. This is not the issue, of course; the issue is that she betrayed this magazine, and disgraced her profession.
The Atlantic, scrambling to recover from the backlash, is sending out this PR snippet to anyone who inquires about the controversy:
“We stand by the respectful image of John McCain that we used on our cover, and we expect to be judged by it. We were not aware of the manipulated and dishonest images Jill Greenberg had taken until this past Friday.
When we contract with photographers for portraits, we don’t vet them for their politics–instead, we assess their professional track records. Based on the portraits she had done of politicians like Arnold Schwarzenegger and her work for publications like Time, Wired, and Portfolio, we expected Jill Greenberg, like the other photographers we work with, to behave professionally.
Jill Greenberg has obviously not done that. She has, in fact, disgraced herself, and we are appalled by the manipulated images she has created for her Web site of John McCain.”

ABC’s (Gibson’s) slice and dice of Palin: Charlie were you trying to show you were some seasoned, senior journalist holding the nation’s survival in your hands? ABC and Gibson did what FOX NEWS didn’t do….they showed their contempt for the truth…let it fall where it may…ABC had to manipulate the interviews for their desired affect. Kudos to FOX and O’Reilly for actual ‘fair and balanced’. The MSM is not fair and they are unbalanced.
“In addition, Judith Weiss, a sister-blogger and moderator of the super-excellent LiberalHawks listserv group, has called my attention to the NewsBusters’ unedited transcript of the Gibson interview. ABC manipulated the hell out of the interview–they sliced and diced context and content in an attempt to present Palin as slightly flustered, unsure, superficial, and dangerous. Weiss demands that ABC release the entire unedited interview.”
A woman at a Hillary website (nom de plume – Nancy Kallitechnis) posted what she found reviewing Gibsons questions to Obama compared to the questions he later asked the VP nominee Palin:
The following is a breakdown of the questions asked of the nominees:
Obama interview:
How does it feel to break a glass ceiling?
How does it feel to “win”?
How does your family feel about your “winning” breaking a glass ceiling?
Who will be your VP?
Should you choose Hillary Clinton as VP?
Will you accept public finance?
What issues is your campaign about?
Will you visit Iraq?
Will you debate McCain at a town hall?
What did you think of your competitor’s [Clinton] speech?Palin interview:
Do you have enough qualifications for the job you’re seeking? Specifically have you visited foreign countries and met foreign leaders?
Aren’t you conceited to be seeking this high level job?
Questions about foreign policy
-territorial integrity of Georgia
-allowing Georgia and Ukraine to be members of NATO
-NATO treaty
-Iranian nuclear threat
-what to do if Israel attacks Iran
-Al Qaeda motivations
-the Bush Doctrine
-attacking terrorists harbored by Pakistan
Is America fighting a holy war? [misquoted Palin]There’s no doubt the Charles Gibson interviews showed extreme prejudice against Palin and extreme favoritism towards Obama…He constantly questioned her ability to lead but never questioned Obama’s ability to lead..
I showed this to a few co-workers. Two of the women, both Obama supporters, were completely disgusted with the dramatic difference in the puffball questions Obama got compared to Palin. Both were offended and said the media was so in the bag for Obama that they never would question the media is sexist, was out to destroy Hillary, and now is working on Palin while “our guy” is clearly getting red carpet treatment..Then one said – you know, seeing this shit happen makes me think he isn’t my guy…I really feel for Gov Palin getting abused like that..
